Bio
Coach Cooper was born in Blackpool, England and has been involved in soccer and sports all his life. He graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with an honors degree in Human Movement Studies, majoring in Exercise Physiology, Psychology, and Ball Games. He played football and cricket at a high level before a serious ankle injury caused a premature end to his playing career. Cooper relocated to Port Angeles in 2002 and, in addition to his work with the Pirates, has been an assistant coach with the Port Angeles High School team for over ten years. Cooper lives locally with his wife Bonnie and two daughters, Rachel and Abi.
